QUALITY CHILD CARE GRANT INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Senator Hodge and I are the Senate co-sponsors of this House bill by Rep. Solano. It comes from the Early Childhood & School Readiness Commission. The bill provides incentives with federal grant money for early childhood providers to increase the quality of care through a tiered reimbursement system in the Child Care Assistance Program.  The bill was signed into law on April 15, 2010.
